Folketidende Gruppen is a media and communications company in Lolland-Falster. The organization includes newspaper and magazine production, digital platforms, advertising tasks, and a distribution network.
The company has 65 employees supported by an IT department of two people. This setup makes it necessary to maintain stable systems with as little manual work as possible.
Business Challenge
Manual Updates and Limited Time
With only two IT staff, keeping systems updated manually required significant time. This included tracking updates for third-party software, packaging applications, maintaining drivers, managing administrator rights, and securing mobile devices. Several of these tasks repeated frequently, leaving limited time for other responsibilities.

The Solution
Use of CapaOne Cloud Services
Folketidende Gruppen has used the On-Premise solution, CapaInstaller, for many years. Over a year ago, the IT department added several CapaOne services:
- CapaOne Application Manager to automate updates for third-party software
- CapaOne Driver Manager to check and update drivers automatically
- CapaOne Privilege Manager to manage local administrator rights
- CapaOne Mobile Manager to secure and update mobile devices
Third-party software is now updated twice daily, and driver checks run three times a week.
The implementation was handled internally without external consultants.

Reduced Manual Work and More Automation
CapaOne has reduced the amount of manual work related to software updates and driver maintenance.
Routine tasks now run automatically, and the IT department can allocate time to other tasks.
The systems remain updated, and mobile devices are managed through CapaOne Mobile Manager.
